NOVEMBER 2025 BOOK FAIR WRISTBANDS

For the first time ever we had issues this year with people stepping out of their place in line to rush the front door, and ignoring instructions to get back in line. This will not be tolerated in the future. To insure against it, we are taking steps to be able to easily identify the order in which people will be admitted, and we will have law enforcement on hand to insure that people behave civilly. It really saddens us that it has come to this, but we’re not going to let a few jerks run roughshod over everyone else.

Wristbands for the November Sale will be officially available on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 12:01 am EST. (Right after midnight.)

The admission wristbands are numbered sequentially and entrance to the sale on Friday, November 7th (i.e., your place in line) will be by the number on your wristband.

Online wristband sales will end at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, Friday October 31st. 

If you order a wristband by 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, Friday, October 24th (in time for us to mail it to you), we will do so. If you’d rather we didn’t mail it, please note that and we will hold it for you at will call. Wristbands ordered online after October 24th will be available at Will Call.

You can also order wristbands by telephone. Leave a message and that will hold your place in line. Both the computer system and the voice mail are time-stamped and orders will be processed in the order they were received.

We will call you back to get your credit card number. Don’t worry if you don’t hear from us for a day or so– we are in the midst of getting ready for the sale (70 tons of books!) and it may take us a little while. The time that you first contacted us will be the time we use for the wristband order.  

November Wristbands purchased in advance cost $12 each to cover the cost of handling. Admission is still $10.

Wristband order will preclude any boxes, chairs, unicorns, umbrella stands or milk crates left in the line. If you are bringing helpers, please buy all the wristbands together at the same time. We can’t let them in with you if they have later wristband times than you do.

If you encounter any difficulties with the PayPal link, you can send us a message through this page, or through our Facebook page or on the telephone (937) 999-4491 and the time of your message will still be the time of your wristband order.

Please note that PayPal has gotten very fast at processing orders– last year we sold 70 wristbands in the first minute they were available.

We hope that this goes smoothly for you, and we are looking forward to seeing you at the sale.

P.S. For those of you who have attended the sale before, please note that there is no preview or party or event of any kind on Thursday night. We’re all going home early to get extra sleep. When you walk through the doors on Friday, no one will have shopped the sale before you.
